Should You Use Snapchat as an Escort? An Insider’s Look

Mobile social media are hotter than lava right now and harnessing their power is one of the cleverest things we can do as escorts, especially those just being introduced to the world of hired dating (you have to start from somewhere to let the gentlemen know you are here ladies!).

If we want to succeed in this highly competitive industry, we need to make smart moves rather than just sell our great looks.

I took a look at Instagram in the last post and while I can see some great benefits in using Instagram, I am a little more sceptical when it comes to Snapchat.

And surely, it is important to get going with the escort marketing tools that are bang on trend right now to create a good following. I think you are all on board with me, right?

So, I was thinking about using Snapchat.

For those that don’t know what it is, it’s an app that allows users to send and receive videos and photos that automatically delete themselves after they have been viewed.

However, I know I shouldn’t rush into the first shiny thing out there.

So, I will try the old pros-cons method to see if it is worth investing time in this app.

Let’s start with the Pros…

1. I Do not Risk Been Banned

Since all photos and videos are deleted immediately after the user has viewed them, I run no risk of violating the terms and conditions of the app.

The only way a client or potential client can keep my pictures is by taking a screenshot. In this case, the app will alert me and the client will be told off in no uncertain terms by me.

As of today, when I am writing this article, Snapchat has more than 158 million active users (daily) and more than 2.5 billion snaps shared every day. Amazing to conceive!

Also, each user visits Snapchat around 18 times per day (on average) and the overall in-app stay time is more or less 30 minutes.

This means that, if I play my cards right, I can reach out to a large client base and benefit from the time they stay connected to book a meeting or build the basis for future hirings.

The app has both an image/video sharing tool and chat box, which allows me not only to share high-quality shots and behind-the-scenes stuff that will help create engagement but also nurture them through chatting, at least, at first.

3. I Can Use Snapchat to Send more Traffic to my Profile

As with every social media channel, Snapchat can be used to refer followers to my directory profile, where they can get more information about the services I provide and lots of other spicy details.

The whole idea behind that is to minimise the time required to use the app so that it can benefit me as a medium to do the business work for me.

This won’t cut it for me as I am more focused on men between 30-45+.

So, I guess that for escorts working with younger clients, Snapchat is an app they should seriously consider getting their hands on.

That being said, Snapchat is only 6 years old and still in infancy. So, I will keep an eye and see how it grows up as it enters puberty!

2. Do I Really Have (Or need to devote) More Time for Another Social Media Platform?

I am already an active user of other social media platforms and really don’t know if I have the time or energy required to start all over again with a new medium.
